Cars and Coffee Feb 2017

Another glorious Cars and Coffee Byron Bay has come and gone. We were expecting a warm day, and we were not disappointed. Most of the cars arrived around 8.15am (around an hour earlier than usual) as we all knew it was to be a hot day.

Here is a glimpse of some of the cars which joined us for breakfast.

A one week old Ford Focus (with a Volvo turbo 300hp engine) joined a brand new Porsche 911 GT3RS which also joined a 1962 Porsche 356 alongside an EJ Holden Wagon. You get the picture.

The O’Sushi People’s Choice award went to the Moto Guzzi motorbike shown above. It was the first time a bike won the award.

The Thee Blue Ducks award went the a fully restored EH Holden shown here escaping the heat.

As a trial, we are offering the complete set of 100 photos from today’s event to be downloaded instantly. All we ask is a $5.99 donation, which will go towards keeping this event running.Purchase the February 2017 Cars and Coffee Photo pack

And finally, a warm congratulations to James O’Connor who has stepped up as “Event General Manager”.

  1. Such a great venue, with great food, but oh that gravel I drive in to the parking area. Came home yesterday and it took me two hours to get rid of the dust. Would not recommend attending if you are particular about keeping your car immaculate especially if you have an open car.

Agree…….and I would like to say that the carpark is due to be sealed very soon. It has been a long time coming, but I too will be very happy with the loss of the “dust trail” upon entry and exit.

Keep an eye out for an update.
